This model has a diagonal pickup and
a white silk-screened Gibson logo. Duchossoir (Ref. 1), on page 71,
states, "Some of the
very last EH-185s from batch #F4227 shipped in
late 1942 have a larger
Gibson script silk-screened in white." This instrument is from
batch #F4227, shipped in late 1942.
