BOOGIE'S PIT BULL PAGE |
My name is Baron von Boogie, but my friends
call me Boogie or "The Boogs". I live with my mom and dad on a 40 acre
farm in Mississippi. I am eleven years old and weigh 76 pounds. Dad says 30
pounds is in my head, he thinks that is funny.(I guess I just don't
understand human humor.) My favorite things are riding in the delivery truck
to New Orleans and chasing "Dillers". (That's armadillos to humans). I know
the day before our weekly delivery that dad is getting everything ready for
the trip and I help as much as I can. Dad says I am just getting in the way
so that he won't forget to take me with him.
This is a picture of my real mom,
Gretel de Mopalus. Everyone called her Granny Gretel. She was with mom and
dad for fourteen years. They say she understood the meaning of over thirty
words and phrases and would adopt any baby animal; pigs, kittens, rabbits.
At one time she brought home a young wild rabbit and hid with it under a
brush pile.
Nubbs is my sweetie and the mother of my
children, Boogette and Hans. She is the night watchdog on the farm and a
master of camoflage. She will lie really still and try to catch you off guard
and jump out and "attack" you. When she does that to me I just give her "That
Look" and she sits down and kisses me on the nose!
Boogette, my daughter grew up around
the Border Collies and watched as dad trained them. She learned so well that
now she is a top-notch cattle dog and she works just like a Border Collie!
Boogette is three years old and weighs 60 lbs. She also has been through K-9
training to protect mom when dad is not home.

This is a picture of my
son, Hans, Boogette's younger brother at 3 months old and 34lbs. He is really
a handfull and demands a lot of attention from dad. I get jealous sometimes
and have to put him in his place. I grab his nose in my mouth and make him
lie down and yipe, but I don't really hurt him, just let him know who the
boss is!
Hans likes to see how high he can jump for a stick.
"Gimme, gimme, gimme!!"
"Just remember, I'm the REAL BOSS
around here!"
